  We have all heard about using WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS) at some point or the other. Some laugh at this pointing out that WordPress was never built for use as a CMS and therefore will never be able to fully function as worthy CMS Site. After doing just a little bit of digging online, it actually becomes apparent that many people have used WP as a fully functional, scalable and complete CMS implementation. This incudes the US car giant Ford.

  

  There so many plugins to choose from in the WordPress directory. Plus, a simple search on Google will reveal that there are so many more that are not in fact listed on the WP directory. This becomes overwhelming to anyone looking on. So I decided to make a little bit of time to write about the best WP plugins to add CMS Functionality to WP. (Notice: I didn’t say ‘CMS like functionality…’). This very much will change your WP installation into something rather outstanding.

  It is  easy to search for templates and themes on the thousands of websites that provide them online and use them on your Wordpress blogs while configuring your blog to be used as a complete CMS solution that’s simple, but does this replace good, old fashioned web design.   This is my opinion – A blog should be a blog. Period. People should consider designing websites from the ground up as this ensures that your idea is completely unique and not used on elsewhere on the net. Sometimes this can prove difficult especially if your site involves a lot of high end dynamic content, forms, sales, etc but it is still not an excuse.
